Mar 5 2010 - 6:30pm US/Eastern ![]() Brought to you by: The New College Student Council, the Office of Residence and Student Life, and community partner the Bata Shoe Museum New Blanche is a night for university students and the Toronto community to come together to promote the arts and collectively recognize the devastation caused by the recent earthquake in Haiti. The goal of the evening is to raise at least $2 000 in order to support the building of shelters in Haiti to protect families from the upcoming rainy season. ***Buy your tickets at either the New College Student Council office (Wetmore Hall), or the Office of Residence and Student Life (Wilson Lounge). If you cannot buy your ticket in person, e-mail Fathia at equity@myncsc.ca to reserve your ticket. TICKETS WILL SELL OUT - GUARANTEED!!*** ALL PROCEEDS FROM TICKET SALES WILL BE DONATED! Tickets: $5 for students (show your student ID), $10 for non-students Dress Code: Dress To Express! There will be an art works exhibited, ranging from paintings to photography. Live musicians, performers and poets, all under the roof of the Bata Shoe Museum. Along with live performances and art, there will be a silent art auction consisting of art pieces by local professional and amateur artists! Any additional funds raised from the auction will also be donated. All museum exhibits will open to guests for the entire evening and is wheelchair accessible!
